At Meadow Springs, our desire is to share the story and love of Jesus wherever He provides opportunity - with neighbors across the street or with people across the world. Our church family is actively engaged in sharing the true story of Jesus, both locally and globally. It’s at the core of who we are.

Craig & Megan Hammond | Mission’s Door - Salem, OR
 *Craig & Megan will be with us on Sunday, April 28th, with an update about their ministry!


MSCC has supported the Hammonds in campus ministry since 2007. In 2018, they made the transition from Willamette University to serving as chaplain at North Salem High School. Both Craig and Megan have been able to demonstrate the heart of Christ in a public school setting.

From Homework Hub to Newcomers Class for students newly in the US, Craig and Megan have become familiar faces. The staff has grown to trust and respect the Hammonds, asking them to participate in grief counseling when there is a death in the school community or pointing them in the direction of a student in crisis.

Both students and staff have responded to the message of God’s love because Craig and Megan are willing to show up, be present and speak truth. One of the children they recently fostered said it well, “I’m so happy. I guess this is what love feels like!”

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  • Pray for strength and stamina as the Hammonds keep a busy schedule with four kids of their own.

  • Pray they can maintain a relationship with the children they recently fostered.

  • Pray that Craig and Megan will continue to walk close to Jesus so they can reflect Him in the world.
