Worship Leadership Team Values |
|
The Worship Leadership Team at MSCC is made up of the band members, soloists, and vocal team members who lead on stage during our worship services. Being a part of the Worship Leadership Team is one of the most visible ministries at Meadow Springs. When a part of this team you will be actively leading our congregation into worship, either as a band member or vocalists, and your commitment to Christ and His church will be on display. As you prayerfully consider a possible role on the Worship Leadership Team, the following values will help you understand the commitment that is asked of our participating team members. Personal Discipleship and Commitment to God’s Church1) A Worship Leadership Team Member should be a Christ follower and committed to the purposes and values of Meadow Springs. 2) A Worship Leadership Team Member should maintain a positive testimony for Christ both in and outside the church. 3) A Worship Leadership Team Member has a commitment to working with other team members in an encouraging, respectful, and God centered manner. 4) A Worship Leadership Team Member must complete all three steps of the Worship Leadership interview process. 5) A Worship Leadership Team Member should request a MSCC membership packet, look and listen to the contents, and express an agreement and commitment to Meadow Springs. 6) A Worship Leadership Team Member should attend the majority of all-team meetings held throughout the year. Terms of Commitment7) A Worship Leadership Team Member commits to a minimum term of one full year. 8) At the end of the first one-year term, the team member can interview for a second year. (This interview will be different than the first one and will mostly consist of evaluation and discussion about future involvement.) Musical Commitment9) Each Worship Leadership Team Member (vocals only) is encouraged to participate in the Worship Choir a few times a year. Of course you are allowed to participate in the Worship Choir as much as you want to. 10) A Worship Leadership Team Member is expected to attend all rehearsals and services assigned to them, and they are expected to arrive on time and be prepared musically and spiritually. Spending personal preparation time outside of rehearsal is a must. (A substitution process will be put in place when needed by team members.) |
