Instrumental Ministry Opportunities

The Worship Ministry at Meadow Springs Community Church offers a variety of instrumental ministry opportunities for those who desire to use their gifts and share their hearts with others.  Listed below are the current opportunities for adults, high school age and older, who love music and desire to use this medium to share the love of Christ with others.

Worship Bands

The worship bands include any of the instrumentalists that play on stage each week.  The bands typically consist of: drums, keys, guitars, brass, winds, percussion, etc.  We are always looking for ways to incorporate new instruments to our team.  The bands role is to assist in leading worship during our weekend services and other music and worship events.  The band is considered part of our Worship Leadership Team and therefore requires a 3-step interview process.  In addition to musical ability, participants on these teams are also those who demonstrate a passion for worship within the life of the church.  If you are interested in being a part of the worship band you can receive a Worship Leadership Interview Packet upon request.

Worship Band Substitutes

This team is designed to offer substitute players for the services when a regular team member cannot attend.  This is great place for somebody who cannot commit to being a regular team member but is ready for a smaller role.  This team does require the 3-step interview process.

Alternate Ministry Teams/Small Group Worship

Meadow Springs is constantly looking for ways assemble instrumentalists to serve in alternative capacities to our Sunday services.  These opportunities could include helping with our student and children’s ministries, playing music for a community event, or helping to lead worship for a small group or retreat.  These opportunities are a great way to use your gifts in different roles and to help develop leadership skills.  Those who already have roles within the worship ministry are eligible to assist in these alternative ministries, but an effort will be made to include those who do not have set roles when the opportunity is appropriate.  These team members will be required to go through the 3-step interview process and/or meet with the appropriate ministry leadership.
