Heart of a Guide - A Biblical Foundation for Outdoor Ministry

Description: This training will introduce participants to a Biblical foundation for outdoor ministry and include many practical topics to help prepare leaders to effectively use outdoor adventure as a vehicle for Christian ministry. Topics will include a discussion of pertinent Biblical themes, principles of outdoor ministry, use of risk, group dynamics and leadership styles.

Details: March 9-11, 2012 (location TBD); Cost will be approx. $100/person and includes lodging, food and materials)

ThomasHaines-EverestSpecial Guest: Sunday, March 11th at 7pm in the MSCC Sojourn Building, Thomas Haines will share, through story and photographs, his Mt. Everest climbing adventure and talk about his current work with The Wilderness Ministry Institute. Light refreshments will be served. ***Participation in the above mentioned training is not required for attendance at this presentation.
